All the damage in the world means nothing if you cannot even hit your target.

Alarmed by the escalating defensive armaments of the various demonic entities of
Jord, the wizened guru Wing Chun devised a simple wooden training dummy which to
hone his already formidable fighting abilities. Through strict discipline and
constant practice, Wing Chun was reputed to be able to strike each and every one
of a beholder's eye from their writhing stalks before the central eye even opened.

It was not long before various other gurus adopted these training methods. Soon,
inferior but still effective training dummies were seen all over dojos across Jord.
With a simple hit of the dummy, even the most novice of monks can begin their
training session and learn how to better strike their opponent.

Those who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of inner balance and focus are
able to achieve greater degrees of accuracy than those who ascribe to other walks
of life.
