In recent years certain wealthy merchants have come to the Known
World who are not interested in the usual currency. They trade only in
the coinage of their own realm, the drachm (plural drachma). These vendors
carry goods of the finest quality, and provide a matching level of service:
if such a shopkeeper is asked about an item (and he thinks that you might
have a chance of actually being able to afford it) he will describe the item
to you in some detail free of charge. If only our own local merchants would
imitate this excellent practice!

The main quest shop is located just east-south of west gate Bal Harbor. The
shops sell everything from quest spells to high end quest equipment.
However, there is a price to enter the higher end shops. Drachma can be
earned in a variety of ways, mostly autoquests( help quest ). Occasionally,
Immortals will run quests and hand out drachma as the main reward.
