Devaks are lodged deep into the earth's crust to create a magical tie<br />
between the immediate vicinity to one of the seven strata. Once an area <br />
has been affected by this item, all magic of this particular stratum <br />
cast within the entire area is affected one way or the other. <br />
<br />
The length of affects felt from the devak are dependant upon the character's <br />
total levels. As the player grows, so does the strength of his devak.<br />
Each devak has a timer once it is placed into the earth's crust. The timer<br />
is directly tied to the player's total levels. The more levels the player has, <br />
the longer the devak has before it crumbles. A player can prevent their devak<br />
from crumbling by using [[Spell:Nature's Upheavel|natures upheaval]] before the devak runs out of time.<br />
